Playxi is operated by Moonshine Technology ("we"). This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have. Plain English. No dark patterns.
What we collect
- Phone number — used to sign you in and to send scorer invites to people you choose. Never sold, never shared with third-party advertisers.
- Profile — display name, optional avatar.
- Match data — teams, players, ball-by-ball events, statistics. Tied to your account.
- Device info — platform (iOS / Android), OS version, app version, push token (only if you opt in to notifications).
- Analytics events — anonymised events about which features you use. No personal content.
What we do NOT collect
- Your contact list. When you invite a scorer, the system contact-picker shows your contacts on-device. We only receive the one number you tap.
- Your location. Match venues are typed in manually.
- Behavioural advertising data. We don't run ads.
Who can see what
- You can see all of your own data, always.
- Players you've added to your teams see their own stats. They can claim their player profile by signing up with the matching phone number; they can then export or delete their own historical stats.
- Tournament-bound matches are visible to enrolled team members of that tournament.
- We don't have employees casually browsing your data. Production database access is audited and limited to incident response.
Where data is stored
Servers are hosted with Hostinger (currently a VPS in the United States, fronted by Cloudflare). Backups are encrypted at rest. SMS delivery uses MSG91 (DLT-registered in India).
Your controls
- Export your data at any time from Settings → Account → Export.
- Delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete. Deletion is irreversible and processed within 30 days.
- Turn off push notifications from your OS settings or in-app under Settings → Notifications.
